One touch from the presence of God transforms us from the inside out. Everything in our lives is centered around Jesus. We are a church that is committed to first love passion and the practice of the presence of God.
Equipping
We are passionate and committed to equipping the saints for the work of the ministry. We long to raise up healthy, loving and powerful disciples of Jesus so we can live in the fullness of what Jesus paid for in our lives.
Mission
We are a church on a mission together. As a body we are focused on overseas missions, local outreach, serving the community and teaching believers to be the light in the world in their homes, at school, in the work place and everywhere they go.
Family

Pastors
Shepherds who guide us deeper into the Father's heart.
Michael Lombardo is the Senior Leader of Awaken Dallas. After a radical encounter with Jesus, his life was transformed from a drug addict into a passionate lover of God. From that point on Michael has dedicated his life to the practice of the presence of God, sharing the beautiful and glorious gospel, and equipping the body of Christ.
He graduated from Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas, where he developed a deep passion for overseas missions. Since then, Michael has preached the gospel in more than twelve nations and continues to equip believers to know Jesus, become like Jesus and follow Jesus with their whole lives.
Michael and his wife, Selina, lead Awaken Dallas and reside in Dallas, Texas, with their three incredible children.
Selina Lombardo is the Missions Pastor. Selina Lombardo met Jesus at 12 years old, fell in love and has been captivated by Him ever since.
Soon after being saved, the Lord gave her His heart for the 10/40 window: the lost, broken, and unreached people of this world. That same year she began visiting orphanages in Mexico. She has journeyed to 14 nations doing both short term and long term missions. She met Michael in 2013 doing missions in Mozambique, Africa and they vowed together to go wherever the Lord would lead them to do His will.
After doing more missions and raising a family of 3 children, in 2022 together they founded Awaken Dallas. In July 2026, the first ever mission team from Awaken Dallas sent out 20 people 10 hours down the Amazon River in Brazil to a forgotten village. This is only the beginning.
Leaders
Naomi Cano is a Dallas native who has been serving in Children’s Ministry since the age of 15. She attended Christ for the Nations Institute, studying Children and Family Ministries, and has also received training through Harvest School for Global Missions. She is a full-time elementary school teacher with a deep love for children and their God-given purpose. She is passionate about creating spaces where children feel seen, loved, and excited to know Jesus. Her heart is to introduce children to the heart of God and encourage them to walk confidently in the fullness of who He created them to be.
Paola Guzman serves as the Operations Director at Awaken Dallas and is a business consultant and investor with a background in operations, leadership, and organizational development. She is passionate about Kingdom theology and the intersection of faith, business, stewardship, and everyday life. Having traveled extensively and served in ministry around the world, Paola brings both a global perspective and practical thinking to the local church. She enjoys building teams, developing people, and creating systems that help the church operate and flourish. At the heart of what she does is a desire to see the Body of Christ equipped and empowered—helping people recognize what God has placed in their hands, take ownership of what is before them, and multiply it for the benefit of others.
Christianna Castrejón serves as the Worship Pastor and Family Care Team Coordinator at Awaken Dallas. Originally from New Jersey, she moved to Dallas to attend Christ for the Nations Institute, where she graduated and later served as Dean of Women for nearly four years. Christianna is passionate about pointing people to Jesus and equipping others to do the same in every area of life and ministry. She is married to Johnny, and together they are proud parents to their daughter, Charlie.
Johnny Castrejón-Lopez serves as the Worship Director at Awaken Dallas, where he leads the production of Sunday worship services and oversees the logistical operations of the worship team. A Nebraska native, Johnny studied Advanced Biblical Theology at Christ for the Nations Institute and carries a deep passion for serving the Lord and His people. At the heart of his leadership is a desire to love, equip, support, and empower a team of worshipers as they pursue the Lord’s presence both on and off the platform. Johnny is a devoted husband to Christianna and proud father to their daughter, Charlie.
