Our Sound Team makes sure every service sounds excellent, so the focus can stay on worship and the message. This team runs the soundboard, manages microphones and instruments, and troubleshoots audio in real time during services and events. It's a great fit if you're detail-oriented, enjoy working with technology, or simply want to serve in a hands-on, behind-the-scenes way that still has a big impact on the room.

Led by Johnny (Worship Director) and Christianna (Worship Pastor), our Worship Team leads the congregation into authentic, spirit-led worship each week. We're looking for people with a heart to serve, a teachable spirit, and a desire to help create an atmosphere where people can encounter God.

Our Intercession Team is committed to covering Awaken Dallas in prayer — for our services, our leadership, our members, and our city. This team meets to pray over the vision and needs of the church, believing that prayer is foundational to everything we do. If you have a passion for prayer and want to serve in a way that impacts everything behind the scenes, this team is for you.

Our Evangelism team focuses on sharing the love of Jesus practically and tangibly, primarily through homeless outreach in the Dallas area. Volunteers help prepare and distribute meals and supplies, build relationships with those we serve, and share hope with people who need it most. This team is a great fit if you want to see your faith lived out in action beyond the walls of the church.

Our Hospitality Team creates a warm, welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors — from greeting guests and helping people find their seats to answering questions and making first-time visitors feel at home. If you're naturally friendly and want people to feel seen the moment they arrive, this team is a great way to serve.

Partnered with Culture Coffee, our Cafe Team serves coffee and creates a relaxed, welcoming space for people to connect before and after service. Volunteers help prepare and serve drinks, keep the cafe area running smoothly, and add to the overall hospitality of Sunday mornings. It's a simple, high-impact way to serve that fits people who enjoy hospitality with a bit of a fun, social edge.

Our Cleaning Team plays a vital, often unseen role in making sure our space is clean, welcoming, and ready for people to walk into each week. This is a practical, hands-on way to serve that directly supports every other ministry and gathering at Awaken Dallas. Our Creative Team brings vision to life through photography, videography, graphic design, social media, and more. This team helps shape how Awaken Dallas communicates and connects — both in the room and online.
